CAKU RAISE THE BAR FOR ERASMUS MOBILITIES

During the 2022 Erasmus+ Call for Proposals, the Erasmus+ KA171 Projects evaluation process was completed by the Turkish National Agency.
Among the 208 universities in Turkey within the scope of the project, Çankırı Karatekin University became the 1st university in Turkey in Erasmus+ KA171 Projects as the institution that received the higesht grant.
ÇAKÜ has achieved a very important success in Erasmus+ International mobility projects, which are primarily encouraged by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and where universities are in a great competition.
This success of Çankırı Karatekin University shows that the Council of Higher Education has achieved its goal of internationalization to a great extent.
32 granted countries include the United States, Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, Georgia, Tunisia, Jordan, Palestine, Morocco, Algeria, Panama, Somalia, Djibouti, Sudan, Benin, South Africa and other partner countries.
After the preparation process is completed in the 2022-2023 Academic Year, hundreds of students, academicians and administrative staff will benefit from this mobility.
Mobility will be a guide for thousands of students who consider studying at ÇAKU, and this will increase ÇAKU`s international visibility.
Regarding the issue, Rector Prof. Dr. Harun ÇİFTÇİ said, “When we came second in Turkey in the previous years, we set our target as the summit next year. As a team, we are very pleased to reach our goal of being the first in Turkey this year. It is extraordinarily exciting to achieve this result with limited personnel and opportunities under all kinds of difficult conditions. We will now watch together how our ranking among World Universities will rise radically.”
With these mobility projects to be realized, new horizons will be opened for both our students and academic staff, and academic depth and multi-faceted cooperation will be provided.
Head of International Relations Office and Erasmus Institutional Coordinator Asst. Prof. Dr. Şuayip TURAN also stated that ÇAKÜ, with its young and dynamic academic and administrative staff, follows the target-oriented Internationalization Strategy of YÖK and that with these Erasmus projects, ÇAKU`s students and staff have created a gateway to abroad.
He also stated that with these collaborations, which were established with the understanding of good management at Çankırı Karatekin University, they continue their efforts to expand the academic network, as well as to make the name of our country, our university and Çankırı heard and visible all over the world.
